At Clashing Sabers we promote positive, thoughtful critique and discussion about the Star Wars galaxy. With four shows on the feed and a diverse cast of hosts and guests, this network is focused on bringing together different “certain point of views.”

Episodes

Zach joins Lindsey and Brandon to share their Top 3 and Bottom 3 stories from the collection of 40 short stories that comprise The Empire Strikes Back: From a Certain Point of View. While their lists have some commonalities, Brandon's best story will shock you as it did his fellow hosts.

The High Republic publishing initiative will tell Star Wars stories across multiple forms of media, including a comic series written by Cavan Scott and illustrated by artist Ario Anindito. A huge Star Wars fan himself, Anindito joins Zach Christman and Mark Marquis to talk about having his number called for this series, what it's like to create Star Wars, and how The High Republic changes the game for Star Wars storytelling. A can't miss doesn't even begin to describe it!

A new Thrawn book means Lindsey and Brandon have to try to convince themselves to like the character. A prequel to all previous Thrawn content, this book provides topics such as the effectiveness of Zahn's worldbuilding, the apparent challenge of writing characters that are more than plot elements, and the possibility of Thrawn being representative of people on the spectrum.

Dooku: Jedi Lost changed the game for Star Wars storytelling, and the Aphra audio drama might just do the same. Well, at least if you ask Brandon. How could it affect the future, and for that matter what should we be looking forward to in Star Wars publishing? This episode is your cheat sheet. Thank us later.

On this installment, Brandon and Lindsey are joined by the squadron from Sith Talk, aka Zach Christman and Sammy B! Like Alphabet Squadron itself, this group is better together than they are apart. For the first time on Don't Burn, Adriana joins Brandon for some book talk with Poe Dameron Free Fall author Alex Segura. This is a great conversation about going from fan to author and how both the story of and cultural zeitgeist that is Star Wars affects writers and content creators.

Make sure to pre-order Free Fall and find out more about Alex on his website.
